Moving In

  • On moving in day, the resident will be given a key to the property along with all relevant information which will be explained to them including fire and safety procedures, along with emergency contact details.
  • We will provide information regarding the nearest job centre plus, amenities, bus routes and health practitioners such as Opticians, Dentist, Hospitals and Gp’s. Residents have the option to retain their existing GP or can opt for a more localised GP. Assistance will be provided in these areas.
  • All Residents where applicable, will have a payment processed on their behalf (with their permission?) in notifying the DWP and Housing Benefits of their change in circumstance by the housing association head office.
  • A ‘trial settling in period’ will be set for four weekly reviews.
  • At the review all those involved in the resident’s support (with residents’ permission) will be invited to attend. Including any representative from social services accommodation.
