Who is eligible?

The basic requirements for applicants are shown below. Please read.

We do not discriminate against any adults seeking housing with ourselves. In order to become a resident, there are certain basic requirements which applicants need to have.

All applicants must meet the DWP definition of ‘vulnerable’, this is as follows:

‘A vulnerable adult is someone aged 18 or over; who is, or may be, in need of community services due to age, illness or a mental or physical disability. Who is, or may be unable to take care of himself/herself, or unable to protect himself/herself against significant harm or exploitation.’

Applicants can be referred from a variety of service providers – Drug and alcohol services, hospitals and community health teams. Applicants can refer themselves on a self-referral basis also.
